Our inaugural portfolio, entitled “Creando Fuerza—Cambio y Permanencia,” draws on the rich grassroots practice of activist education and the strong tradition of printmaking within our community. It showcases the broad range of talent of individual member workshops while addressing our pursuit of a national network of Latino printmakers. This body of work conveys unity as a catalyst for change and permanence, reflecting our diverse origins and the intersection of Latino experiences. Through printing techniques that reflect a visual persistence and the cultural resonance of works on paper, “Creando Fuerza” defines our values, our achievements and our future. La unión hace la fuerza.
